The Dragonrider will do his thrust attack and miss falling off the platform to his death. Count the number of steps he takes and right after the 6th step sprint past him on the right. Enter the fog and wait for the Dragonrider to walk towards you. To do this trick one must NOT activate any switches in Heide's Tower of Flame. The Dragonrider's worst enemy turns out to be himself. Have Cheats or Secrets to Contribute? Press the Edit Button in the top-left corner and add your own! Dragonrider Quick Kill Follow this up with a quick firebomb and Boom! The Pursuer has just been defeated in 10 seconds. This will take away 99% of the Pursuers health. If the parry was successful you must quickly run behind the ballista and activate it. Parrying this attack next to the wagon does two things: 1) It stuns the Pursuer for 5 seconds and 2) Leaves the Pursuer in the direct line of fire of the ballistas. The Pursuer will always start the fight with his charging sweep attack. Right when the fight begins position yourself next to the wagon on the left. There's also a way to solo-kill the Pursuer in under 10 seconds using the ballistas, a firebomb, and your mad parrying skills. Lining him up requires some pretty precise timing, but a clean hit all but destroys him, but be warned a stray shot hitting your phantoms or host will hurt and more then likely kill him. The Pursuer can be weakened 99% by a single shot from one of the Ballista set-pieces in his boss arena. The effect of the covenant is to turn off your ability to summon or be summoned. If you want to increase the challenge, (and potential rewards) of Dark Souls 2, join this company. Joining this Covenant significantly increases the difficulty of Dark Souls 2, a fact not made crystal clear in the process of joining the cult. Just behind the village in Majula is the Victors Stone, a shrine to the Company of Champions. Hidden behind are a number of Souls and the useful Royal Soldiers Ring. The wall behind them is false and can be blown out with a spell. Near the far edge of No-Man's Wharf is a small room full of jars containing poison. This turns the nearby item under the waterfall from a "Small Smooth and Silky Stone" into a regular "Smooth and Silky Stone X3." This allows up to four trades when traded with the crows in the birds nest. However, when placed in the bird's nest in the game's very first area, Things Betwixt, the Petrified Something may be exchanged a random item, from an Old Whip to the extremely precious Twinkling Titanite, an item which allows players to upgrade equipment otherwise resistant to improvement.Īnother option is to pick a Bonfire Ascetic as your starting gift and burn it in the Things Betwixt bonfire.
